Overview

The Southeastern Council annually awards a $1000 scholarship to a deserving upperclass undergraduate or graduate student at a college or university within the Council who is majoring in a field of study that fosters the preservation of gamefish or their habitats.

The Council provides the scholarship in honor of the memory of our first President, Fred Stevenson.

Application

The Board of Directors votes on scholarship recipients at its annual Festival held in the late Spring.  Interested applicants should carefully review the requirements and submit their application to the VP Education.  The Council encourages applicants to include a letter of recommendation from their faculty advisor or department chair which covers their project.
